Stray dog goes on biting spree in Thiruvananthapuram; 32 people injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 32 people suffered injuries in a dog bite attack in the capital city on Saturday. The incident took place in Karamana and Kaimanam areas of Thiruvananthapuram. It was one dog that attacked all 32 people in Chiramukku on Saturday.

The injured have sought treatment at Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital and Medical College. Eight people have also sought treatment at Nemom Shantivila Hospital. The injuries of three among them are considered serious. The hospital authorities informed that all those who sought treatment will be given rabies vaccine. The search for the dog has started in Thiruvananthapuram city.
