Newly married woman found hanging at husband’s house

ALAPPUZHA: A 22-year-old newly married woman was found hanging at her husband’s house. Aziya of Kayamkulam and wife of Muneer of Alappuzha Panakkal Purayidam was found hanging last night. Muneer and other members of the family were not at home at the time of the incident. Aziya was found hanging when they returned home. She was immediately rushed to Alappuzha General hospital, but her life could not be saved.

Aziya, a dental technician was staying in Muvattupuzha as part of her job. She used to come to her husband’s house once a week. She got married to Muneer, an employee of a private bank, four months ago. They got married after being in a relationship. Her body has been shifted to the mortuary. The police have registered a case of unnatural death.

Her father had died a month ago. She had shared pictures with her father on social media. It is doubtful whether the note shared is a suicide note. The note said that she is deeply saddened by the death of her father and is going with him. However, an investigation has been started to know whether it was penned by Aziya herself. The information given by the relatives was that she was deeply saddened on the demise of her father.
