‘Mohanlal called me after revelation of hidden camera’; investigation team seeks clarity on matter, says Radhika

CHENNAI: Actress Radhika Sarathkumar said the investigation team had called her for clarification soon after she raised allegations of hidden camera in the caravan on the sets of a Malayalam movie. Radhika also demanded that such an investigation committee be formed in the Tamil film industry.

‘Mohanlal had called me asking if that incident happened on the sets of his film. None of the main actors were there at the time of that incident. When I came to know that the people on the set was seeing the hidden camera footage, I created a commotion. Demanded the production company to take action. Made them delete the visuals. Some are asking why creating a controversy after raising such incidents that happened years ago. I have reacted on the spot against the unpleasant incidents that have happened in my life. I have not tried to create an unnecessary controversy,’ she said.

Radhika also revealed that a top actor of the Tamil film industry has sexually assaulted an actress. The revelation was at the press meet convened as part of her new serial in Chennai. The actress was assaulted. The actor was drunk. Radhika said that her timely intervention had saved that actress. The actress added that actors with political agenda should first protect the women of their own film industry.
