Former SP Sujith Das sexually abused me twice, said CM is his uncle, reveals housewife

MALAPPURAM: A woman came forward with a sexual harassment complaint against two police officers. She raised the complaint against former SP Sujith Das and former Ponnani SHO Vinod. While talking to a media, she said the incident happened two years ago.

The woman alleged that Sujith Das took her to a big bungalow and raped her there. The woman also alleged that Sujith Das sexually abused her twice.

She said Sujith Das told her that the chief minister is his uncle. She also disclosed that another officer was with Sujith Das when he abused her a second time. She said that she decided to reveal these things after the disclosure of P V Anwar MLA. The woman added that she met Anwar the other day and had briefed him everything.

The woman had lodged a complaint with Sujith Das, the then SP mentioning that Vinod misbehaved with her when she approached the police with a complaint related to a family property. The SP then handed it over to DySP Benny for detailed investigation. The district special branch also investigated the complaint. A report was submitted to SP stating that the allegation against Vinod was false.

After that, the woman now came forward with the serious allegation. Police said that it is a fake complaint. The suspect may take legal action against her.
