Verbal altercation at airport; actor Vinayakan in Hyderabad police custody

HYDERABAD: Malayalam actor Vinayakan was taken into custody by the Hyderabad police on Saturday. According to reports, Vinayakan was taken into custody after he engaged in a verbal altercation with the airport staff at the Hyderabad airport. Vinayakan alleged that he was manhandled by CISF personnel at the airport.

The incident happened while the actor was travelling from Kochi airport to Goa. While waiting for his connecting flight to Goa at the Hyderabad airport, he got into an argument with the airport staff. The argument later escalated into a physical altercation. The reason behind the incident is still unclear.

Speaking to an online news channel, Vinayakan claimed that he was forcibly taken to a room at the airport by CISF personnel, where he was physically assaulted. He also stated that he was unaware of the reason for being taken into custody, and added that the CCTV footage would reveal the truth.
