THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan severely criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and expressed shock that the CM did not inform him of the anti-national activities taking place in the northern part of Kerala.

The Governor also accused the Chief Minister of shirking government responsibilities. The Governor has also sought clarification on the Chief Minister's Malappuram remarks

“Things like gold smuggling are anti-national activities. Why didn't the Chief Minister tell me about it? The Chief Minister himself said that anti-national activities have been going on for three years. Information about anti-national activities noticed should be reported immediately. The government should take action against the wrongdoers. This is a very serious matter. I want to know what action the government has taken on the phone hacking issues” said Governor.
