THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A crucial meeting was held at Cliff House after DGP Sheikh Darvesh Sahib submitted an inquiry report into the allegations leveled against ADGP MR Ajithkumar. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's Political Secretary P Shashi, Private Secretary KK Ragesh and Additional Private Secretary CM Ravindran reached the Cliff House and met the Chief Minister. The DGP will also come to meet the Chief Minister soon.

The DGP personally handed over the 300-page report to Home Secretary Biswanath Sinha at 8 pm last night. Meanwhile, chief minister's office banned Ajith Kumar from the review meeting held yesterday regarding the Sabarimala pilgrimage. The meeting with RSS leaders, Mami missing case raised by MLA PV Anwar, the situation that led to the allegations like Pooram messing up and the lack of vigilance of the ADGP in charge of law and order have been pointed out in the DGP report.

Based on the report, action may be taken against Ajith today. The DGP has submitted the report rejecting the explanation given by Ajith Kumar in the meeting with the RSS leaders. It has also been found that there was a failure in the investigation in Mami's disappearance and Ridan's murder, which were alleged by Anwar MLA.

Ajith Kumar's earlier explanation was that he used to meet the main RSS leaders when they came to Kerala and it is reported that the DGP has added an opinion in the report that Ajith's work was not in line with the police officer. The report also contains negative remarks against Ajith Kumar regarding the management of Thrissur Pooram. The CPI, which protested on the Thrissur Pooram issue, is expecting strict action against Ajith.
