THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran called the tussle between the ruling party and opposition inside the assembly a farce. The BJP leader said it was V D Satheesan of all people who was trying to save the chief minister from the current crisis.

K SURENDRAN:

“Pinarayi Vijayan saved the ADGP who was facing charges of phone hacking, tampering, custodial murder and illegal acquisition of property. The chief minister fears to raise a finger against the ADGP. He is well aware of murkier details that will surface if moved against ADGP.

Apart from focusing on such vital issues, the opposition is creating big smoke over ADGP’s meeting with RSS leaders, This is paving the way for CM Pinarayi Vijayan to escape from the current crisis.

The government is returning the favour by settling the Punarjani case, where the opposition leader is an accused.

K T Jaleel’s controversial remark is against the constitution. Jaleel should understand one thing. The people of India owe allegiance to the constitution and not to the religious priests. According to Jaleel, gold smuggling and hawala deals are carried out by members of one community. What is more insulting than these remarks?

Jaleel is not eligible to continue as an MLA in Kerala. It is interesting to note the stoic silence followed by both UDF and LDF on this issue.”
