Salman Khan imports bulletproof car worth Rs 2 crore; actor's security beefed up following death threat

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's security has been beefed up after Lawrence Bishnoi's gang issued another death threat. Reports suggest that a bulletproof car worth ₹2 crore has been purchased for his protection. The vehicle, unavailable in the Indian market, has been imported from Dubai. The car features specialized glass shields capable of withstanding point-blank bullet shots. The vehicle reportedly has several features, including a system that detects explosives and provides warnings, and a unique colour that makes it impossible to identify who is inside.

Last year, Salman Khan had imported a bulletproof vehicle for himself and his father. Meanwhile, a security team of around 70 personnel has been deployed for the shooting of Bigg Boss, which Salman hosts.

Strict restrictions have been imposed on the shooting location. Recently, the Bishnoi gang had threatened Salman, stating that they would settle their long-standing enmity if he paid them Rs 5 crore. This threat came days after the murder of political leader Baba Siddique, a friend of Salman.
