P P Divya's anticipatory bail plea postponed; police protection for Divya till Oct 24

KOCHI: P P Divya's anticipatory bail plea over the suicide of ADM Naveen Babu, has been postponed. The bail plea has been postponed to October 24th. There were only technical procedures today. Reports said Divya will not be arrested till October 24th and that she will have police protection. Divya’s arguments will be heard on the 24th.

The family had alleged that there was a conspiracy against Naveen Babu. They also alleged that Divya and the collector are involved in the conspiracy. It is alleged that Divya attending the farewell function is part of this conspiracy.

Meantime, Divya said that she participated in the programme after being invited by the collector. However, the collector came forward denying this argument. The police are mainly investigating whether there has been a conspiracy in the incident.
