THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran MP said that the Chief Minister is showing untouchability towards minority organizations as part of CPM's attempt to strengthen its ties with RSS.

"CPM and Chief Minister are suddenly rejecting Jamaat-e-Islami, with whom they had four decades of friendship, and PDP, with whom they openly formed an electoral alliance in 2009. This is to satisfy the Sangh Parivar leadership. CPM is a movement that champions secularism only for political benefit, wearing a false face. The Chief Minister is now rejecting Jamaat-e-Islami, SDPI etc., but the CPM had worked together with them shoulder-to-shoulder in various elections. Pinarayi Vijayan had visited the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami and met the Ameers. CPM and Jamaat-e-Islami had mutually cooperated in elections, including Lok Sabha, Assembly, and local body polls," Sudhakaran said.
