The location holds deep significance for the cricketer, as it’s the same city where his father, Khanchand Singh, has worked tirelessly as a gas cylinder distributor. A video of Khanchand distributing cylinders in Aligarh went viral recently, showcasing the dedication and humble origins from which Rinku emerged.

In a decision that underscores KKR’s confidence in Rinku’s abilities, the franchise chose to retain him over other prominent players, including Shreyas Iyer, their cup-winning captain.
