Schools to remain shut on November 11 in Ernakulam: Official notice

KOCHI: The schools in Ernakulam district will remain shut on Monday following an order from the district collector. The District Collector NSK Umesh has informed that schools following the Kerala Syllabus from Pre-Primary to Higher Secondary will be given a holiday because of the conclusion of the Kerala state school sports meet.

Earlier, rumours reached social media about the district collector announcing a holiday for educational institutions in Ernakulam. Ambiguity loomed after officials dismissed the news. Putting an end to the doubts, the district collector of Ernakulam announced the holiday by Sunday night.
