Malayali student goes missing in sea in Dubai, search intensified

DUBAI: A Malayali student went missing in the sea at Al Mamzar in Dubai. The missing is Mafas, son of A P Ashraf, a cloth merchant in Dubai and a native of Chenkala Thaivalappu in Kasargod and Nazeema. He is a tenth standard student of New Indian Model School in Dubai. A search for him has been intensified.

The family had visited the beach on Friday night. When Mafas was playing football, his ball accidentally fell into the sea and he was swept away by strong undercurrents. Though the rescue team conducted a search, he could not be found.
