KOLLAM: The 20-year-old woman, who went missing from Karunagappally in Kollam, has been found. Kuzhithura native Aishwarya Anil, who went missing on November 18, has been found in Thrissur.
The woman is currently under the protection of the police. It is reported that she was found at a meditation centre in Thrissur. Aishwarya reached the meditation centre yesterday. Earlier, Aishwarya's mother had filed a complaint stating that her daughter was missing. The woman was found in Thrissur while the police were conducting a probe based on the complaint. The woman's parents and the police are on their way to Thrissur.
It is said that Aishwarya left home after her mother scolded her for playing an online game. Aishwarya's phone has been switched off since 11 am on Monday.
Aishwarya, who left home in the morning, passed through the premises of the Karunagappally police station. Police had obtained CCTV footage showing Aishwarya taking a lift on a scooter ridden by a woman. Upon questioning, the woman, who rode the scooter, told the police that she had dropped Aishwarya in front of the railway station.
