IDUKKI: CPM leader and former minister MM Mani went back to his old self, kicking up yet another controversy with a tirade. Mani while speaking at the Idukki Santanpara CPM Area Committee meeting asked cadres to use physical might to retaliate against oppressors or else warned about the party going redundant in the state.
"The movement will not survive if we fail to retaliate at the right time. If we get hit, retaliate back with more force. It will be only through retaliation that people will gain trust in the movement. The people should feel that the retaliation was the right choice. No kidding, all leaders now on stage have been part of many such retaliations. The party won’t grow if leaders just focus on polishing their oratory standards” said M M Mani.
MM Mani is no new to such controversies. His abusive remarks against UDF leader Dean Kuriakose and senior leader P.J. Kurien raised political heat in Kerala back in the time.
