PATHANAMTHITTA: The Travancore Devaswom Board has sought an explanation from its officials regarding the special consideration given to actor Dileep during 'Harivarasanam' time at Sabarimala. The board stated that measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring and that strict action will be taken against erring officials without any bias.

Tens of thousands of devotees visit Sabarimala daily for darshan. Ensuring a smooth darshan experience for all devotees who brave the forests and hills to catch a glimpse of Lord Ayyappa is of paramount importance to the Travancore Devaswom Board. The board stated that it is committed to providing basic amenities and a peaceful darshan experience for all devotees.

Actor Dileep visited the Sabarimala temple on Thursday. He had darshan just before the nada closed for the night. Dileep returned after Harivarasanam was completed and the nada was closed.
