THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty confirmed the question paper leak of SSLC and Plus One Christmas exams, on YouTube. The minister said the matter is seen very seriously and a detailed investigation will be conducted.

‘The question paper leak will not happen without the knowledge of those who prepare the questions and distribute it. Some topics are mostly leaked. The matter will be examined considering past experiences. Those who teach children by receiving good salaries from the state government should work with commitment, responsibility and in an exemplary manner. However, if they take a fraudulent stance by contacting private commercial companies, it will not be tolerated under any circumstances. An investigation is being considered.

A challenge to public education is going on. YouTubers and tuition centers who leak question papers will get temporary profits. Strict action will be taken against the channels. Things are happening that are disturbing the system that is running smoothly. It is also causing difficulties for children who study well. The information of teachers taking tuition will be collected,' clarified the minister.

The Director of General Education has filed a complaint with the police on the question paper leak. The questions leaked were from the Christmas exam of Plus One Maths and SSLC English.
