Hurled abuses and pushed investor when asked money for wife’s treatment; Sabu  mentions names in suicide note

IDUKKI: The suicide note of the investor, who ended his life in front of the rural development corporative bank in Kattappana, has surfaced. Sabu of Mulangassery, who took the drastic step has mentioned the names of those responsible for his death.

'Bank secretary Reji and employees Binoy and Sujamol are responsible for my death. I deposited the money I had earned throughout my life in the rural development bank. Binoy hurled abuses at me and pushed me when I demanded money for my wife's treatment. This situation should not happen to anyone again,' his suicide note said.

Soon after his suicide, the BJP and Congress are staging protests in front of the CPM controlled bank. The protesters said that they will not allow to take the body from the spot without the arrival of the RDO. The protesters said many are still coming to the bank for money and the employees there are threatening them in the name of the ruling party and leaders. They also demanded that those mentioned in the suicide note be arrested.

Sabu took his life around 7.30 am today. Sabu was found hanging near the stairs of the bank by the people living nearby. Sabu was the owner of Variety Ladies Center in Pallikavala. He had deposited around Rs 25 lakh in the bank. He had earlier asked the bank to return his money. As the bank was in a crisis, the officials promised to return the money in monthly installments. He was given money in this manner for the past few months. Sabu's wife is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Thodupuzha. Sabu had gone to the bank yesterday for money for his wife’s treatment.
