HYDERABAD: Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's latest film Pushpa - 2 continues to be surrounded by controversies. Akbaruddin Owaisi, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA and Asaduddin Owaisi's brother, has come forward with serious allegations against the actor. Akbaruddin's allegation is about the woman's death in the stampede after Allu Arjun arrived for the screening of 'Pushpa 2' at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad.

The MLA alleged that it was irresponsible action on the part of Allu Arjun. Akbaruddin points out that Allu Arjun continued to watch the film even after the woman's death and left the theatre after waving to his fans. The MLA was speaking in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. He alleged that when Allu Arjun was told about the incident of the woman's death in the stampede, the film star smiled and said, "Now the film will be a hit.”

Akbaruddin said that he himself is a participant in public gatherings attended by thousands of people and he takes utmost care to avoid such incidents. "Allu Arjun did not care to check on the woman or the son. The actor did not forget to wave at his fans while leaving in the car after watching the movie," the MLA alleged. The incident took place at Sandhya Theater on December 4. When Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana entered the theatre, people flocked to the scene and 39-year-old Revathi died in the stampede.
