Another celebrity car accident in Mumbai; actress Urmila Kothare's car runs over two labourers; one dead

MUMBAI: Marathi actress Urmila Kothare's car ran over two labourers, killing one. A labourer who was involved in the construction work of the metro in Kandivali, Mumbai was killed. The actress, driver and another labourer were injured in the accident. The accident happened on Friday night. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.

Urmila Kothare was returning from a midnight shoot on Friday when the accident took place near the metro station. The speeding car lost control and ran over the labourers. One labourer died on the spot. Another labourer was seriously injured. The police stated that the actress was not seriously injured as the airbags of the car worked on time.

The actress' car was badly damaged in the accident. Samata Nagar police have registered a case against the actress's driver. Urmila is the wife of actor and director Adinath Kothare.
