KOCHI: MLA Uma Thomas, seriously injured in the scary fall from a podium at Kaloor, remains in ventilator support but doctors assured him nothing to worry about the congress leader’s present health condition. Only after assessing the health condition will the doctors think about removing the ventilator support.
A new medical bulletin clarifying the MLA’s health condition will be released at 10 a.m. today. The police had filed a case under the non-bailable section for financial exploitation against the organizers of the dance program in Kochi, conducted with the sole aim of getting the Guinness record.
The first accused is Nigosh Kumar, managing director of Mridanga Vision, who organised the event. The organizers sold Sarees worth Rs 390 for Rs 1600, which even textile behemoth Kalyan Silks said they were unaware of. This forced the police to file charges of financial exploitation. The Palarivattam police registered a case under non-bailable clauses after a housewife filed a complaint.
