Season of Sivagiri pilgrimage comes to an end

SIVAGIRI: The 92nd Sivagiri pilgrimage season concluded with knowledge, goodness and awareness in mind. In a prayer-filled ceremony, Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust president Swami Sathchidananda lowered the Dharma flag. Treasurer Swami Saradananda, Pilgrimage Committee Secretary Swami Ritambharananda, Swami Asanganandagiri, Swami Shivanarayanatheertha, Swami Hamsatheertha, Swami Ambikananda, Swami Desikanandayati, Swami Virajanandagiri and others were also present. Dharma Sangham Trust president Swami Sathchidananda delivered the concluding message of the pilgrimage.

The pilgrimage season at Sivagiri started on December 15. This year's pilgrimage was in the color and excellence of the Global Pravasi Sangam held at Sivagiri and the Parliament of World Religions organized by Sivagiri Math in the Vatican as part of the centenary celebrations of the Interfaith Conference. The official pilgrimage as directed by Gurudeva was on December 30th, 31st and January 1st. This year, the pilgrimage was held on the commemoration of the death centenary of Kumaranashan and the centenary of the Kathaprasangam which was inaugurated with the blessings of Gurudeva.
