ALAPPUZHA: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan with warning to those who insult women. The Chief Minister said that strict action will be taken if there is any word, look or act against women. He was speaking at the general meeting related to the CPM Alappuzha district conference.

"Strict action will be taken if women's pride is questioned. Any misbehaviour against women from any side will be dealt with. There should be no wrong way of looking at or speaking to women," the Chief Minister said.

Pinarayi Vijayan also criticized the Congress at the conference. He alleged that the UDF is bringing together communal forces that should be kept at bay. The Chief Minister also criticized that Congress and BJP are following the same policy.

"The Congress is not questioning the wrong policies of the central government. They cannot question it either. That is because Modi is continuing the policies brought by the Congress. In effect, the policies of both are the same," the Chief Minister said. The Chief Minister also stated that communal forces cannot be unleashed in Kerala. "There was no disaster in Kerala till 2011-16, but there was a disaster called UDF rule," quipped Pinarayi Vijayan. "UDF could not acquire land for construction of National Highway. LDF implemented it. This is the difference between UDF and LDF. Isn't everything going smoothly now?" he asked.
