Boby Chemmanur might get out on bail; Court order expected at 3.30 pm

KOCHI: The final verdict on ​​businessman Boby Chemmanur's bail plea in the sexual harassment complaint filed by actress Honey Rose will be made at 3.30 pm on Tuesday. The court responded that it had no issues in granting bail while police have hitherto not demanded further custody period. Minding this, the court is expected to grant bail to Boby by Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, the court studied the double entendre usages of Boby and quizzed him for using such remarks on the public stage. The prosecution wants the arrest to serve as a lesson to society. They also told the court that the businessman had been frequently using such deplorable remarks on public stages.

Meanwhile, Boby filed a bail plea saying that the case registered against him was not serious and the police interrogation was over. Boby was earlier remanded for fourteen days after the Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate Court denied him bail. The police registered a case against Boby on non-bailable charges.
