KANNUR: Survivor reveals more about hotel owner Devadas in Mukkam's Mambatta hotel employee rape case. The woman reveals that the attack was planned and that she had been mistreated before.

"Initially, he treated me like a daughter. Later, when I noticed a change in his behaviour, I warned him. Then he said that it would not happen again. He tried to drag me inside even after I was injured after falling from the building. The attack was planned. The other employees had been sent home earlier that day. He sent a threatening message while I was undergoing treatment. The message was that this is your first dose," the woman revealed.

The attempted rape was made against the woman who was an employee of a hotel called Sanketham owned by Devadas. On the night of the incident, the hotel employees entered the hotel and tried to rape the woman. The frightened woman jumped from the top of the building. The woman, who suffered serious injuries to her ribs and spine, is undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College. Devadas, who was arrested in the incident, is in remand. He was caught from Kunnamkulam during his bus journey to Ernakulam. He was taken to the house where the woman was staying and evidence was collected.

Footage of Devdas trying to rape the woman and her screaming had surfaced. The woman was playing a game on her phone and the footage was captured on the screen record.
