Niharika is back with a bang

Punjabi athlete Niharika Vashisht won gold in the women's triple jump at the National Games yesterday, surpassing Kerala players. The 29-year-old jumped 13.37 meters and won gold in the women's triple jump at the National Games in Uttarakhand.

Niharika's best performance during the 2022-24 period was 13.07 meters. An improvement of about 30 centimetres. Meanwhile, Kerala player N.V. Sheena, who once jumped 13.60 meters, could only jump 13.19 meters in the cold weather here.
