MUMBAI: Lakhs of pilgrims arrive in Prayagraj every day for the Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13. The arrival of prominent people from various fields at the Kumbh Mela is also in the news. It was also noteworthy that billionaire and Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family came to participate in the Kumbh Mela. Mukesh Ambani's mother Kokilaben Ambani, sons Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, daughters-in-law Shloka and Radhika, and grandchildren Prithvi and Veda also participated in the pujas.

Pictures and videos of them taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam went viral on social media that day. After taking the dip, the Ambani family also performed a special Ganga puja under the leadership of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailasanand Giriji from Niranjani Akhara. Later, they returned after visiting the Parmat Niketan Ashram.

The Ambani family returned after giving a handful of gifts to all the pilgrims, sanitation workers, and boat workers present during the visit. The Ambanis gave gifts in boxes. The boxes were full of sweets. In addition, the Ambanis provided a rich meal to the pilgrims. To increase the safety of the boat operators and pilgrims at the Kumbh Mela, the Ambanis also distributed life jackets.
