Spilled water on body while cleaning table; CPM leaders clash with restaurant staff 

ALAPPUZHA: A clash broke out between restaurant staff and DYFI-CPM leaders in Cherthala. Video footage of the altercation has now surfaced. The incident took place at a restaurant located at X-Ray junction in Cherthala.

The dispute began when water was accidentally spilled on the leaders while a staff member was cleaning a table. The situation quickly escalated into a brawl. Those involved in the clash included the DYFI block president, the son of a CPM state committee member, and a former local secretary — all of whom are lawyers. Although the police arrived at the scene, no case has been filed regarding the matter. The restaurant owner has not lodged any complaint about the incident.
