Big twist in gold robbery in Malappuram; complainant turns out to be main accused

MALAPPURAM: Three persons have been arrested in the Crown gold robbery case in Kottappady. The complainant Shivesh is the main accused in the case, while his brother Bensin and friend Shiju are the other accused. The police found out that the robbery was carried out as per the plan orchestrated by Shivesh.

Shivesh is an accused in four criminal cases, including a POCSO case. An employee of a jewellery store, Shivesh had lodged a complaint alleging that a two-member gang that arrived on a motorbike had stolen 117 sovereigns of gold which was being transported for sale. Upon investigation, the police found that the gold robbery was committed with the help of Shivesh.
