'Muhammed Kutty, Vishakham Nakshatram.'; Ichakka's Lalu offers prayers at Sabarimala in Mammootty's name

PATHANAMTHITTA: Reports had emerged that Malayalis' favourite actor Mammootty is undergoing treatment for illness. Now, information has come out that actor Mohanlal, who visited Sabarimala, has offered 'vazhipadu' in the name of Mammootty. Lalettan performed Usha Pooja in Mammootty's name. Mohanlal also offered pooja in the name of his wife Suchitra at Sabarimala.

The ‘complete actor’ started climbing the holy hills from Pamba on Tuesday evening with his friend K Madhavan (President of Disney Asianet). Mohanlal’s last visit to Sabarimala was in 2015 at the time of his superhit movie ‘Pulimurugan’s’ release.

The first screening of Empuraan will be held on March 27 at 6 am. The global premiere will also begin at the same time. The film features a huge cast including Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently acting in ‘Hridayapoorvam’ directed by veteran Sathyan Anthikad.
