Show cause notice issued to policeman who accompanied Mohanlal to Sabarimala; action taken after transfer

PATHANAMTHITTA: Show cause notice has been issued to policeman who accompanied Mohanlal to Sabarimala. B Sunil Krishnan, who was the SHO of Thiruvalla, had been transferred earlier. The DySP issued a show cause notice after this.

Sunil had sought permission to go to Sabarimala saying that he had been wanting to visit the temple for a long time, but hid the fact that he was accompanying Mohanlal. That is why action was taken against him, according to reports.

Mohanlal had reached Sabarimala on the 18th of this month ahead of the release of Empuraan. He climbed the hill from Pampa after 'kettu nira'. His friend K Madhavan was also with him.
