Dr Soumya Sarin, wife of politician P Sarin, admitted to not liking the latest movie ‘Empuraan’, which is now embroiled in a controversy.

Soumya Sarin:

I am writing this response with no bias and just as a viewer. If not for the whole controversy, Empuraan would have bombed at the box office. In this movie, Baiju’s character delivers a dialogue which seems poignant for the review too. The character says, “The third best quality of an ideal politician is to evoke excitement and goosebumps within his clique.

I got the excitement in Lucifer. Just a shot of Mohanlal’s eyes was enough to hype the mood. However, Empuraan proved to be a shoddy, if not terrible, sequel. Anyway, Prithviraj, your brain needs to be preserved. Take a bow! What a marketing masterclass to bring success out of nothing.

Anyway, team Empuraan might be in jubilance over the gargantuan money they amassed from just one week. Their mission is more or less complete. People can now take sides and start heated exchanges over the movie. Nobody cares.
