KOCHI: Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the actress assault case, has made serious revelations against actor Dileep, claiming that the actor had offered him Rs 1.5 crore for the crime, of which Rs 80 lakh remains unpaid. Speaking to a private news channel, Suni also accused Dileep’s manager, Appunni, who is the eighth accused in the case, of playing a key role in the conspiracy.

According to Suni, he had called Appunni from jail to demand the outstanding payment, but Appunni dismissed him, saying, "Do whatever you want." Suni stated that he initially trusted Dileep, but after realizing he had been deceived, he decided to expose details of the case.

"Whenever I called Dileep, it was Appunni who answered. He always spoke as per Dileep’s instructions. Appunni is his most trusted aide and knows things that even Manju Warrier and Kavya Madhavan don’t. After my arrest, I remained silent for two months. If Appunni hadn’t abandoned me, I would have stayed loyal to them," Suni revealed.

According to Suni, the attack on the actress was a premeditated crime meant to record visuals for blackmail. "I had informed the actress about this intention. Even though she offered money to prevent the crime, I did not accept it. Dileep's resentment stemmed from the breakdown of his family, and the plan was to use the recorded footage to silence her," he said.

The case took a crucial turn when the police recovered the assault footage. Suni admitted to handing over a memory card to his lawyer, which was later produced in court—an outcome he did not anticipate. However, he did not reveal where the mobile phone used to record the assault was hidden.

Suni also alleged that similar attacks had been carried out against other actresses with Dileep’s knowledge. He alleged that sexual offenses were often settled outside of court, and many in the film industry were aware of such incidents but remained silent out of fear or self-interest.
