Devotee of Tamil Nadu offers gold crown of 36 sovereigns to Lord Krishna in Guruvayur

THRISSUR: A devotee from Tamil Nadu offered a gold crown to Lord Krishna in Guruvayur as an offering. Kulothumgan of Kallakurichi offered the gold crown weighing 36 sovereigns (288.5 gms). The crown was offered to the temple at a function held near the Kodimaram at 9 am the other day.

Devaswom chairman Dr V K Vijayan accepted the crown. Administrator K P Vinayan, temple deputy administrator Pramod Kalarikkal, temple assistant managers L Ramakrishnan, K K Subhash, C R Lejumol, Kulothumgan’s wife Renukadevi and children witnessed the function.
