THRISSUR: Shine Tom Chacko will appear before the police on Saturday evening, his father said, after receiving a notice from the police. CP Chacko told the media that his son was being summoned in connection with him running away from the hotel in Ernakulam. The police came to Shine Tom Chacko's house to serve the notice that he must report at the Ernakulam North police station at 3 pm on Saturday evening.

The notice was served at Shine's house in Thrissur since he was not available on the phone. Since the actor was not at home at the time, his father CP Chacko received the notice on his behalf.

'If the government sends a notice, we cannot help but respond. The notice is about him running away from a private hotel. Shine is not at home. They first said at a certain time. We said that it is not convenient. He should be able to reach there right?

"There will be no lawyers. Some of his friends will be with him. Legal advice has not been sought. There has been no case. We will think about it when a case gets filed. We have ten years of experience in handling cases. We know when a case will happen. It is not the time to talk to a lawyer. This is just some toy snakes. We can contact a lawyer when a case arises. There will be a case only if you have committed a crime," said the actor's father.
