Police register case against 10 in fight between marriage parties in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: The police registered a case against ten people in connection with a fight that broke out after vehicles belonging to marriage parties collided. The incident happened at Valayam in Kozhikode the other day. The fight broke out after a jeep struck a car carrying a marriage party coming from the opposite side. Those in the jeep were on their way to another marriage function.

A verbal dispute broke out between the two groups. The people in the car complained that that those in the jeep attacked them. They smashed the glass of the vehicle and four including a four-month-old baby sustained injuries. They sought treatment in the nearby hospital. A case was registered against 10 on the complaint of Athira, wife of Nithin Lal of Chekkiad.
