Blast outside BJP leader Sobha Surendran's house in Thrissur; security beefed up

THRISSUR: A blast took place in front of the house of BJP state vice-president Sobha Surendran. The incident occurred in front of her house in Ayyanthole, Thrissur, at around 10.40 pm last night. It is suspected that four people who arrived on a bike threw the explosives in front of the house last night.

Sobha Surendran was present in the house at the time of the incident. The local BJP unit has demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, the police have been instructed to provide special protection to BJP leaders in the district.
