THRISSUR: Police denied a mysterious angle behind the incident of a blast near BJP state vice-president Sobha Surendran’s house in Thrissur. According to police, it was three local youths who set the crackers in this area. The youths in their confession said that they set fire to the leftover crackers purchased for Easter.

The young men were afraid to reveal the information when the police arrived following the sound of the explosion. The youngster said that the crackers had burst in front of his own house. Police will only file a case for reckless bursting of explosives and will release the youngsters.
