Pooja Mohanraj is a popular actress in Malayalam cinema. Pooja has been the target of a lot of criticism on social media, mostly because of her dress code. Now, Pooja has come out with a response to such criticism. The actress shared these things in an interview with Kaumudy Movies. Pooja said that she felt that some people were deliberately targeting her and taking videos.

'When I go to the promotions of most films, not many people ask me questions. So I often sit and listen to what others say. If we show some change of expression in the meantime, there are people who edit it and post it on social media to increase their reach. When I come out, a lot of people come around me with cameras. I still don't know how to respond to them.

It seems like they are waiting to find out if something is wrong on our part or if our clothes are out of place. I am scared of that. There are people who say that if they show me they will get good reach. There are people who only show us being angry on video. I had gone to the theatre with my mother at night to watch the movie Rifle Club. I went wearing a noodle strap dress. Later, some people posted a video highlighting only that from a weird angle. That made my mother very sad. I have heard a lot of body-shaming comments. When thin people wear that outfit, fewer people make bad comments. That is a relief. Only people like me have to experience all that,' said Pooja.
