‘We are amongst the audience, Rajeev Chandrasekhar on dais', mocks Minister Riyas; Rahul Mamkootathil trolls minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Soon after the Vizhinjam Port was dedicated to the nation, Minister Mohammed Riyas made a mockery on Facebook. The minister mocked at the seat given to BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on the dais.

Ministers including Mohammed Riyas and CPM state secretary M V Govindan all were given seats amongst the audience. Meanwhile, Rajeev Chandrasekhar got a seat on the stage. Sharing a picture with Minister K N Balagopal, M V Govindan and Chief Minister's wife Kamala, Riyas wrote, 'We are amongst the audience and Rajeev Chandrasekhar on the stage.'

However, sharing Mohammed Riyas's post, MLA Rahul Mamkootathil has come forward criticizing the minister. 'Isn't it natural that the convener of your front is on the stage for the fourth anniversary of your government?' Rahul wrote on Facebook.

Ministers and prominent figures from the political and cultural sectors attended the inaugural function. Thousands of people came to Vizhinjam to witness the proud moment.
