28-year-old domestic help arrested for sexually abusing minor boy

HYDERABAD: A 28-year-old domestic help has been arrested for sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy. The woman working as a domestic help in the house at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad sexually abused the son of another house maid. She was arrested under the POCSO Act.

The incident happened in the quarters of domestic helps. The accused and the family of the 17-year-old victim lived in the same building. The accused had been sexually abusing the boy for months. The abuse came to light when the manager of the house saw the accused kissing the boy on April 29. The manager then informed the boy’s mother about the incident. When asked about this, the accused told the boy’s mother that he considered him as her younger brother and kissed him affectionately. The boy’s mother warned the accused not to repeat this.

The mother's complaint to the police said that when she asked the boy about it, he started crying. Later, when she spoke to the boy again on May 1, he confessed that she had been sexually abusing him. She threatened him with false accusations of theft if revealed the incident to anyone. The boy’s mother then filed a complaint with the police. Following this, the woman was arrested the other day. The accused produced in the court has been remanded. The police said the boy was sent for counseling and that his condition is satisfactory.
