Native of Mannarkkad found dead in Pulwama forests

PALAKKAD: A youth from Kanjirapuzha in Mannarkkad was found dead in Jammu and Kashmir. He has been identified as Mohammed Shanib (28) of Karuvanthodi. His relatives came to know about his death after getting a call from Gulmarg station on Tuesday night.

Shanib was an electrician in Bengaluru. His relatives said that he left home saying that he was going to work. His body was found in a forest in Pulwama. The police said the body was about ten days old when found. No information was available on how the youth, who was in Bengaluru, reached Jammu and Kashmir.
