ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani government has ordered the Pakistani army to respond to India's Operation Sindoor. The media there reported that the Pakistani army will respond. A red alert has also been declared in Pakistan. The authorities have also directed hospitals to be ready to deal for an emergency. Domestic and international flight services have been suspended for 36 hours. The airspace has been completely closed. Schools in Punjab and Islamabad in Pakistan have also been closed.
India's response through Operation Sindoor comes days after innocent people were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. India destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan Wednesday morning at 1.44 am. At least 10 family members of Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Masood Azhar and four of his aides were reportedly killed in the attacks. Many terrorists have been killed. India has stated that it has given an inevitable response and will retaliate strongly if provocation continues. Tensions are continuing on the India-Pakistan border presently.
Meantime, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that the attack will be stopped if India decides to de-escalate the situation. The minister's response came after India carried out surgical strikes this morning. Khawaja Asif also clarified that they are ready to end the conflict if India withdraws. Khawaja said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
