P Sreekumar, former Janmabhumi bureau chief, appointed Kerala Governor's new additional private secretary

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Janmabhumi Online Editor P. Sreekumar has been appointed as the Additional Private Secretary to the Kerala Governor. The Raj Bhavan Secretary issued an order on the Governor's instructions.

The appointment is on a scale of Rs 59,000- 1,20,900. The appointment is for one year, open to be extended. The appointment order will be forwarded to the government. Sreekumar is also a member of the Senate of the University of Kerala.

Sreekumar, a native of Puthuppally Thrikothamangalam, Kottayam, was the bureau chief of Janmabhumi in both New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. Former chief editor of Janmabhumi Hari S Kartha will assume office as Governor's Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
