NEW DELHI: The Pahalgam terror attack took place on April 22. Twenty-six people, including a native of Kochi, were killed. To the woman who confronted a terrorist and pleaded to be killed alongside her husband, the terrorists had said, "I won't kill you. Go and tell Modi." India is giving a strong response to those who removed the Sindoor from the forehead of Indian women through "Operation Sindoor." Heavy security has been deployed along all the borders.

More details have now emerged regarding Operation Sindoor. Eight military installations in Pakistan were attacked using India's robust defence systems. Officials said that the Pakistani army fired missiles targeting several air force installations in Punjab. Three air force installations, medical centres and schools in Jammu and Kashmir were attacked.

It is reported that India attacked Pakistan's weapons storage areas. The Indian army carried out targeted attacks only in selected places and not in populated areas. India repelled the drone attacks carried out by Pakistan in locations in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. After that, there was strong retaliation.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said that air strikes and other attacks were carried out in more than 26 locations from Srinagar to Naliya in Gujarat. "The Indian armed forces have successfully neutralised these threats. However, there was minor damage to equipment and personnel at the air force stations at Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur and Bhuj," she said.

Today was the fourth round of briefing on Operation Sindoor. Pakistan's provocation has not spared even civilians. Officials said that Pakistan has continuously tried to spread false news by claiming that it has destroyed Indian S-400 systems in Adampur, air force bases in Suratgarh and Sirsa, Brahmos base in Nagrota and an ammunition depot in Chandigarh.

Officials also rejected Pakistan's claims that it has destroyed or will destroy military installations, power and cyber systems.
