NEW DELHI: Commodore Raghu R. Nair stated that India will continue to abide by the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan. He added that directives have been issued to the Army, Air Force, and Navy to comply with the agreement. He also emphasised that India is a secular nation and denied allegations that Indian forces attacked religious sites in Pakistan, calling such claims baseless propaganda.
He further stated that Pakistan has engaged in multiple false propaganda campaigns, all of which have been exposed by India. The officials, speaking at a press conference, said that Pakistan now clearly understands the strength of India's military power.
Indian military officials also dismissed claims by Pakistan that an Indian warplane was shot down. The officials confirmed that India inflicted significant damage on Pakistan. Meanwhile, they rejected Pakistan's allegations that Indian airbases in Sirsa, Jammu, Pathankot, Bathinda and Naliya suffered damage.
Claims that Pakistan used its JF-17 fighter jets to destroy India's S-400 and BrahMos missile bases were also false, according to Commodore Raghu R. Nair, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. These statements were made during a press conference held after the India-Pakistan ceasefire agreement. The officials clarified that India's strikes were targeted solely at terrorist camps in Pakistan and dismissed contrary claims as misinformation.
