Plus One classes to begin on June 18

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Plus One classes for the 2025–26 academic year will begin on June 18, Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced at a press conference. A total of 4,62,768 students have applied online. The allotment is for 3,16,000 merit quota seats in government and aided schools. Including community quota, management quota, and unaided quota seats in aided schools, a total of 4,42,012 seats are available.

The first allotment list will be published on June 2 at 5 PM. Admissions based on this allotment can be completed from June 3 at 10 AM to June 5 at 5 PM. The allotments for Model Residential Schools and Sports Quota admissions will also be released along with this.

The second allotment will be published on June 10, and the third on June 16, completing the major phases of the admission process, the Minister added.
