Doctor found dead in car; commits suicide after losing money in online gaming

CHENNAI: A young doctor was found dead in car. The incident happened at Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu. The dead is Dr Joshua Samraj, who was pursuing his MD in Salem. His body was found inside a car that had been parked for three days in Poomparai near Kodaikanal.

Dr Joshua was working in a hospital in Madurai. Locals informed the police after seeing an unfamiliar vehicle in the area for three days. The body was found during a subsequent inspection. A suicide note was found in the car. The note apologizes to his family. However, the reason behind his death has not been clarified. Relatives said he was extremely disappointed over an issue in his relationship.

The police clarified that he had debts and they suspect that this was the reason for his suicide. The police said that there are some rumors on social media that the money was lost through online games, but no evidence has been found in this regard. The initial findings are that he administered IV fluids while sitting in the car. The police said that this can be confirmed only after the postmortem. The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
