MALAPPURAM: Kozhikode native Savad was arrested on Friday for misbehaving with a woman inside a KSRTC bus, exactly two years from his first arrest for a similar case that was highly discussed in Kerala. Savad was taken into custody on Friday after a woman complained to police about him misbehaving with her inside a KSRTC bus.

In 2023, Savad tried flashing at actress Nandita Sankara inside a KSRTC bus in Nedumbassery. The actress, meanwhile, filmed the event and raised an alarm, after which Savad fled from the bus. The youngster was later arrested by police. However, the case flipped upside down after many doubted the veracity of the complaint registered by the actress. Some felt the youngster was trapped in the case and feared he was innocent.

While coming out of jail after securing bail, Savad received a heroic welcome from All Kerala Men's Association. Soon after the incident, Nandita went through brutal cyberbullying. The All Kerala Men's Association termed Nandita’s complaint as fake and alleged a honey trap from the actress to gain popularity.

And now, with Savad getting arrested again, Nandita has been vindicated. She celebrated the news by bursting crackers. The photos are going viral on social media. Nandita Sankara also shared an Instagram story with the caption, 'Finally justice, that too after two years of victimisation and character assassination'.
